Grivel - Air Tech Evo - Eispickel im Test

Buy the Grivel Air Tech if you need to be admired in the cable car. It is rather a toy not a tool. I have used it only once on a easy route to Grossglockner in Austria. Seldom touching the rock under snow. Even I used it really soft, the bottom sharp steel point got such a wear as it looks like a mushroom. Absolutely unacceptable. My old Stubai usually sparked flames on winter rock ascents and does't show any wear! But the main problem is Grivel company itself. I spotted them the problem just a courtesy, without asking any guarantee for the toy. But they ignored the issue even after sending them photos. Relay on them anymore?
