It's almost a perfect softshell, and feels/looks great. For its light weight it is still quite robust, and takes some abuse pretty well. It is also very stretchy, allowing for complete freedom of movement.
The jacket is ideal for summer use, but can also be worn during fast and light activities in spring/fall/winter. Because there's enough room for layering, it is a very versatile jacket (thick fleece underneath is no problem). Something you can use practically all year round in right settings. It is windproof and sheds light rain excellently.
The only aspect of this jacket I don't like that much is the hood volume adjustment. The vertical rear adjustment just doesn't fix the hood around your head as well as the horizontal adjustment. Other than that, it is an excellent jacket, and highly recommended.
